Last month a group of self-appointed “experts” and feminist organizations published An Open Letter in Support for Amber Heard:
Although their support isn’t surprising, we find it unconscionable that this letter’s signatories have the audacity to publicly support Amber Heard, ignoring what both the jury and millions of people concluded from watching the trial: Amber Heard abused Johnny Depp and publicly lied about it, under oath, in a court of law!
This article provides a rebuttal of this misguided and gender-biased letter of support of a undeniably-proven abuser.
First, Some Background: What This Letter’s Signers Don’t Want to Admit
Feminists have been covering up a Big Lie for more than 50 years.
They’ve made death and bomb threats and have often ruined professional reputations to cover up this lie.
This cover up has been mostly successful — until now. Amber Heard’s false accusations against Johnny Depp has helped to dispel feminism’s Big Lie:
Women don’t batter men.
The truth is that women are just as likely — or even more likely — to be perpetrators of domestic violence as men. For undeniable proof, these Heard supporters should visit the Partner Abuse State of Knowledge (PASK) website. PASK has performed an extensive review of 12,000 DV studies and concludes that women also assault men in nearly equal numbers.
Question: What do this letter’s signers and QAnon adherents have in common?
Answer: No amount of facts or reason will ever change their minds.
We recognize that the individuals and organizations who signed the letter supporting Amber Heard are, like QAnon believers, unlikely to alter their beliefs, even when the facts are clearly and undeniably put before them.
With these facts firmly in mind, we condemn their efforts to exonerate Amber Heard’s despicable behavior under the false pretense that public shaming of a proven liar hinders others from reporting intimate partner abuse free from harassment and intimidation.
Below we provide an alternative, more honest and fair-minded “Open Letter in Support of All Victims of Domestic Violence”.
