Does anyone else see what’s wrong with the Post printing the following Brewster Rockit in this morning’s paper?
Keeping in mind the Post’s general disrespect for men,
and the paper’s history of feminist-inspired misandrist articles, let me answer the question posed in this post’s heading: “Would The Post Publish This Cartoon With the Genders Reversed?”
HELL NO!
WWFS: What Would Feminists Say if it were women being similarly disrespected on the Post’s comics page? (Duh!)
Then why does the Post allow obvious gender slurs and epithets against men to appear, not only in the comics section, but throughout the entire paper?
Men are starting to notice and to speak out against misandrist slurs like “mansplaining”. The following video shows one such man, Australian senator Mitch Fifield confronting senator Katy Gallagher over her use of the term in a senate committee meeting. He turned the tables on Gallagher by accusing her of “womansplaining”. As one commenter summarized it,
“Accuses him of being patronising and condescending, proceeds to patronise and condescend him. Finishes with "I think you just need to settle down." Remarkable professionalism.”
Class dismissed.
